Install FlexSoft in 6 steps
Watch every step from signing up to opening it in Allplan in a 1.5-minute video. Each step is written out next to the video; click a step to play the video from that point.
The video and its captions are in Turkish. Every step is written out in English next to it, and the buttons are in the same places in the English interface.
- Go to flexsoftarge.com in your browser.
- Press the blue “Free sign up” button at the top right.
- On the sign-up form, enter your name, phone number, e-mail address and password, then press “Sign Up” at the bottom.
Your password must be at least 12 characters long and contain an upper-case letter, a lower-case letter, a digit and a special character.
- As soon as you sign up, a verification e-mail is sent to your address.
- Click the verification link in that e-mail; your account is activated.
If the e-mail does not arrive within a few minutes, check your Spam / Junk folder. You cannot start the free demo until your e-mail address is verified.
- Press “My account” in the top menu of the site (if you are not signed in, the link is called “Sign in”).
- Sign in with your e-mail address and password; your account panel opens.
- The panel shows your licence, your devices and your downloads.
- In the menu on the left of the panel, press “Downloads”.
- Press “Download (.exe)” to download Application Manager.
- When the download finishes, click the download icon at the top right of your browser and then the downloaded file; the installation starts.
If your browser shows a warning about the file, choose “Keep”.
- If Windows shows a blue warning window, click the small “More info” text and then press “Run anyway”.
- Choose your language in the installer and press “OK”; continue with “Next” and press “Install”.
- When the installation is complete, press “Finish”; Application Manager opens by itself.
- Enter the e-mail address and password you registered on the site and press “Sign In”.
This warning does not mean the program is harmful; Windows shows this screen for newly released programs.
Application Manager opens in Turkish the first time. To switch it to English, open the “Hesabım” (My Account) tab and set “Arayüz dili” (Interface language) to English.
- Application Manager connects to your account; your licence is shown at the top right.
- On the “Reinforcement Package for Allplan” card, press “Download and Install Now”; the package is installed into Allplan.
If you do not have a licence yet, a “Start the 14-Day Free Demo” button appears after you sign in; use it to try every module free of charge for 14 days.
- Open Allplan (if it was open during the installation, close it and open it again) and go to the Library.
- Open the “Private” folder (“Özel” in the Turkish interface).
- Your FlexSoft add-ons are ready to use in the “FlexSoft Arge” folder inside it.
After installation
Updating to a new version
- We let you know by e-mail whenever we release a new version. Press the “Refresh” button at the top right of Application Manager to see the latest version.
- In the “Installed Versions” section, remove the current version with the bin icon, then install the new one with “Download and Install Now”.
- After the update, close Allplan and open it again; only then does the new version take effect.
The guided tour in the editors (?)
- The column, beam, shear wall and slab editors each have a “?” button in the top right corner.
- Press it to open a step-by-step tour that explains every setting in the editor in turn.
